Joasia Cieslak is a young at heart and passionate cello teacher.  She enjoys working with students of all ages and levels.  She primarily teaches private lessons, but also does monthly group activities and offers self paced learning options.  In her private lessons, she covers topics such as repertoire, technique, ear training, music reading (if desired), improvisation, and playing music with others, all within the context of the student’s interests and goals. 

Joasia Cieslak is deeply committed to helping students succeed and goes above and beyond to teach in a way that resonates with each individual, ensuring they find meaning and connection in their learning journey. As a flexible and patient teacher with extensive knowledge and experience, Joasia excels at explaining concepts in multiple ways to guarantee understanding and continual growth in every lesson.

Joasia embraces a diverse array of students, ranging from young beginners to seasoned players. She also has experience teaching neurodiverse and special needs students. Her commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment ensures that every student, regardless of age or ability, has the opportunity to grow and thrive musically.
